Job Summary | The Sr. Human Resources Specialist for Title IX and Employee Relations will provide consultation, investigation, and resolution of employee relations and Title IX/Sexual Misconduct complaints and will create and maintain appropriate documentation including logs of case activity and provide detailed and summary reports as required. Job Summary | The Administrative Specialist serves as the primary point of contact in the Office of the President for visitors and callers and is responsible for ensuring that all parties receive prompt, professional and courteous attention when contacting the President’s Office. The Administrative Specialist may independently respond to inquiries, assist the visitor/caller on appropriate next steps, or direct to the appropriate person or department. In addition, the Specialist acts as the Building Coordinator for the Troy Building; is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the offices on the 3rd and 4th floors designated to the President; ensures that office supplies and equipment are inventoried and maintained; and ensures that electronic and paper records are filed and/or destroyed as appropriate. Additionally, the Administrative Specialist performs a full range of secretarial and administrative duties supporting the President’s staff. Job Summary | The Department of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Nuclear Engineering (MANE) at RENSSELAER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE in Troy, NY, invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Mechanical Engineering. Job Summary | The Economic and Industry Analyst will analyze and make recommendations for progress of the sustainable fashion industry, from farms and new materials to processing to brands and design, in New York State and in general (in the U.S. and worldwide). The Analyst will review and keep abreast of pertinent studies and research, and will seek information from industry data sources, carry out interviews and surveys, and analyze and interpret the information. The work is based at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as part of the Fashion Innovation Center (FIC). The Analyst will interact with FIC members and participants to learn about the industry, discuss sustainable fashion industry problems and potential solutions, consider ways to advance the industry in New York State, and document relevant information and findings in report, paper, and/or book form. The Analyst will also provide suggestions where relevant to innovative project participants in the FIC’s accelerator. The Analyst will work closely with the Center Director and other FIC members. |

Job Summary | The Department of Physics, Applied Physics, and Astronomy at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the field of Quantum Computing, Quantum Information, and Quantum Technology, with focus on the fundamental aspects or applications of quantum computation, scalability, and error correction on current and future quantum computing devices. Research areas can include but not limited to quantum entanglement, decoherence, and noise in quantum networks, with applications to quantum cryptography, quantum encryption, and secure quantum communications in noisy environments. Possible related areas would also include studying and exploiting the fundamental connections between Quantum Monte Carlo and Quantum Computing, simulating quantum field theory and many-body theory with a quantum computer (in particular, simulating systems with a “sign” problem), quantum communication networks, exotic quantum dynamics, quantum sensing protocols, exotic quantum phases of matter, and theory on the nature of information at the quantum level. With the anticipated of arrival of the IBM Quantum System One on our campus, this hire will have access to explore and implement some of these challenging problems. This hire would be part of a bold effort at RPI to strengthen and extend our current faculty cluster in Quantum Information, and would interact with our current faculty on quantum optics and photon entanglement, quantum field-theory, quantum fluctuations in networks, as well as with researchers from Computer Science, ECSE, Future of Computing Institute, and with the future hires of the recently announced Quantum Constellation. The position also represents a response to federal priorities expressed in the National Quantum Initiative Act. The successful candidate will establish/maintain and externally funded research program, participate in collaborative, multi-investigator research and research training initiatives, and contribute to the high impact teaching program in the Department of Physics, Applied Physics, and Astronomy. Postdoctoral research experience and a strong early record of publication in leading journals is preferred. Special Education Teacher
**Sign On Bonus $5,000** (paid in 2 parts 1/2 at 30 days and1/2 at a year)
As a Special Education Teacher, you will develop and implement classroom instructional plans for students and support students success in academic and behavioral goals. You will report to the Assistant Principal and you will work onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all Agency policies and procedures, along with state and federal regulations about our school and students.
- Develop and implement a classroom instructional plan based on a students IEP and grade and subject area curricula; work with content area teachers to ensure that their lessons are differentiated as to meet the needs of all students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) for all students on your caseload. Ensure that accommodations and modifications are provided. Provide specially designed instruction and monitor student progress toward academic and behavioral goals. Complete progress reports and IEP updates, and participate in CSE meetings as scheduled.
- Coordinate the creation of special strategies for reinforcing material or skills based on an understanding of individual students, their needs, interests, and abilities; create and modify materials to match student abilities.
- Develop and coordinate the implementation of single and classroom behavior plans for managing student behavior to maintain discipline in the classroom; oversee the collecting of behavior data; assist classroom staff with crisis prevention and intervention techniques; assist classroom staff with de-escalation techniques; teach students appropriate behavior strategies.
Requirements and Education:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's Degree preferred) or subject area, and ability to work with students who demonstrate serious emotional and behavioral challenges, ages 6-21. General education certification with enrollment in a program that leads to special education certification may be considered.

Job Description:
Information Technology Services (ITS) at the University at Albany seeks applicants for an Asset and Scheduling Assistant to support a campus-wide project to replace all non-Windows 11 compatible computers by Fall 2025. This is a large project with a tight timeline. Faculty, staff, conference room, classroom, and research lab computers will be replaced.
The successful candidate will work both independently and collaboratively as a member of the project team to schedule appointments and rooms, track the availability, procurement, and receipt of computer/hardware assets; generate, edit and manage required reports; and update the asset inventory ensuring its integrity and authority for ongoing use beyond the project. They will have latitude and authority for independent decision-making and have authority to work with faculty, staff and department representatives directly and on behalf of the project. Requires knowledge of different tools/applications and how the data in each is used and related, including O365 applications (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Access, etc.), Smartsheet, and a ticket management application.
The project team members consist of the project manager, the Desktop and Mobile Computing service owner, the Field Support Group Deployment Group supervisor, and the ITS Central Business office, among others. A high degree of integrity in communications to the project team, faculty, staff and department representatives is required, including developing effective communications, and responding with regular and follow up communications to ensure the project needs and expectations are communicated to faculty, staff, and department representatives and their needs are communicated back to the project team.
All work must proceed efficiently and effectively. The work requires a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, ability to follow pre-defined processes and workflows accurately and the ability to work independently, and to make appropriate decisions, as part of a project team. While focus is on following established processes and workflows, they should also be prepared to identify, recommend, or implement continuous improvements to improve efficiency.
They must be able to complete work within scheduled time constraints and maintain a personal working schedule that allows work and daily responsibilities to be completed as scheduled. The successful candidate must have excellent customer service and communication skills, time management and work skills and the ability to work effectively under time constraints and difficult circumstances.
This position reports to the Manager, Desktop and Mobile Computing services, but will also work closely with and respond to questions and direct the work of other members of the project team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure work proceeds without interruption, efficiently and effectively:
- Oversee, schedule, update and monitor required appointments and reservations for computer deployments to faculty, staff, classrooms, and conference rooms.
- Develop, maintain, and revise, as needed, an effective communications strategy to department contacts, their faculty and staff, ITS managers and supervisors to ensure appointments and deployments proceed efficiently and without disruptions.
- Create and maintain accurate records of machine deployments in keeping with on-going expectations for the ITS asset inventory, using appropriate tools and communication methods.
- Oversee, update, and manage all required reports, ensure accurate data is captured, updated, and confirmed through the entire decision-making and deployment processes.
- Track the availability, procurement, and receipt of computer/hardware assets, and update the ITS asset inventory and anticipate and communicate to the manager, the status of needed inventory in a timely manner to ensure work can proceed without interruption.
- Ability to work with different tools/applications, including O365 applications (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Access, etc.); Smartsheet, and a ticket management application.
- Make independent decisions and recommendations in alignment with project strategy and outcomes.
- Assist Service Owner with documenting decisions and ensuring compliance with larger ITS asset inventory expectations to ensure ongoing data integrity.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Be available to provide scheduled support and consultation outside normal business hours, including occasional evenings, holidays, or weekends, within reasonable professional obligation and expectation.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education (DOE) or by an internationally recognized accrediting organization or an associate degree and two years of full-time experience working asset or inventory management and data management.
- One year professional experience in a related field, such as inventory management, data entry, or scheduling.
- Experience creating, overseeing, and implementing an effective communications strategy to customers and decision makers.
- Experience with data management and ensuring data integrity across multiple tools/applications.
- Proficiency in O365 applications (i.e., Microsoft Office).
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, to manage multiple priorities and tasks, and to work independently and within a team structure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to build solid working relationships with individuals of diverse responsibilities and professional backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-3 years experience working with inventory management processes requiring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Representative Job Duties | Some of the duties for this position include: Lead regular meetings with individual fundraisers to review prospect data, identify opportunities to advance cultivation, assess performance on overall goals, and progress within individual prospect portfolios. Guide individual fundraisers and development staff by providing recommendations for potential major donors for cultivation and solicitation. Analyze data to help drive prospect discovery and prioritize the top prospective donors for qualification by development staff. Create lists on an ad-hoc basis as requested by prospect development team members or fundraising partner to support fundraising initiatives by incorporating the use of database segmentation analysis, external resources, electronic screenings, and peer-review/focus group results.
